The Clever Sheep Brothers and the Wicked Wolf
Moral of the Story: With careful planning, you can overcome even the strongest of enemies.
Once upon a time, in a beautiful meadow, there lived three sheep brothers named Shirley, Burley, and Curly. They all lived happily in a cozy straw house. One day, a wicked wolf moved into the neighborhood, close to their house. This made the sheep brothers very scared.
The eldest sheep, Shirley, said, “The wolf could attack us anytime. We need to be prepared. This straw house won’t protect us.”
Burley and Curly agreed with their big brother. So, they decided to build a stronger house. They worked hard and soon finished constructing a new house. It was beautiful and very strong.
One day, the wicked wolf came to the new house with the intention of feasting on the three brothers. He knocked on the door, but it didn’t open. The wolf growled, “Won’t you open the door? Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in!”
The wolf started banging his head on the door, but the door wouldn’t budge at all. The wolf was frustrated but wasn’t ready to give up. He climbed onto the roof of the house and tried to enter through the chimney.
However, the sheep brothers were too smart for the wolf. They had set a fire in the fireplace and placed locks on the chimney. When the wolf jumped down the chimney, he landed directly into the fire! The wolf yelped in pain and ran away, never to bother the sheep brothers again.
The three clever sheep had outwitted the wolf. They learned that with careful planning, they could defeat even the strongest of enemies.
