The Dog Who Went on an Adventure
Moral of the Story: It’s better to stay in your own home, even if things are tough, because your family and friends will always care for you.
Once upon a time, there was a dog named Chitranga. He lived in a town where there was very little food. People didn’t have enough to eat, so they couldn’t give any food to the dogs or other animals. The dogs were very hungry, and some of them even died because they had nothing to eat.
Chitranga was very hungry too. He decided to go to a new place to find food and a better life. He walked and walked for a long time until he reached a new town. In this town, he saw a big house with the door open. A rich lady had forgotten to close it.
Chitranga went inside the house and found lots of yummy food. He was so happy! He ate and ate until his tummy was full. Then, he decided to leave quietly.
But as soon as he stepped outside, the other dogs in the neighborhood saw him. They knew he was not from their town and started chasing him. Chitranga tried to run, but because his tummy was so full, he couldn’t run fast. The other dogs caught up to him and bit him with their sharp teeth.
Chitranga managed to escape and thought, “It’s better to live in my own town, even if there’s not much food. At least I will be safe.”
When he got back to his town, the other dogs were curious. They gathered around him and asked, “Tell us about the new town you visited. What was it like? Was there a lot of food?”
Chitranga said, “Friends, in the new town, people leave doors and windows open, and there is lots of food. But the dogs there are not friendly. They will hurt you if you are not one of them.”
